Z-Flex Aluminization & Foil
Adds resistance to radiant heat and molten splash
Aluminized fabrics are used in fabricated systems and apparel to protect equipment and workers from radiant heat, sparks, and molten splash. Newtex's Multi-Layer Aluminization process, or Z-Flex MLA™, enables outstanding durability and flex-bond and 95% radiant heat reflectivity with no organic flame contribution. Performance has been proven in independent testing of Z-Flex fabrics against EN standards for abrasion, tear resistance, flame spread, convective and radiant heat, and molten metal splash. Aluminum Foil is also available, and is applied on one side of the fabric to provide an economical option where delamination is less of a concern.
