Woven from high strength, continuous filament E-grade glass and aluminized using the Z-Flex MLA process, these fabrics are best suited for applications requiring flexibility and strong protection from burn through, radiant heat, sparks, and molten metal splash. Made from completely inorganic materials, they won't smolder or produce hazardous outgassing. Use lighter weight fabrics such as Z-Flex F-407 as a cost effective alternative to FR Rayon. Heavy weight Z-Flex F-824 is a strong, conformable fabric that offers exceptional tear resistance, puncture resistance, and seam strength, making it ideal for fabricating aluminized gloves, hoods, and industrial aprons.
