Fire Entry Suits

Zetex and ZetexPlus Fire Entry Suits are designed for maximum protection in total flame entry and high radiant heat environments. They are the ultimate safety garments for industries dealing with volatile or highly flammable materials, such as, refineries, petrochemical plants, and oil rigs.


3000 SERIES FIRE ENTRY SUIT
Suit weight: 54 lbs. (25 kg.). Breathing apparatus required.

The 3000 Series Fire Entry Suit is fabricated from aluminized Zetex fabric with seven additional insulation layers. The suit is designed to protect personnel in the following extreme high heat environments:

  • Radiant heat to 3000°F (1650°C),
  • Short duration ambient heat 1500°F (815°C), and
  • Total flame conditions up to 2000°F (1093°C).

2000 SERIES FIRE ENTRY SUIT
Suit weight: 48 lbs. (22 kg.). Breathing apparatus required.

The 2000 Series Fire Entry Suit is fabricated from ZetexPlus fabric with seven additional insulation layers. It is intended to protect personnel from the following high heat temperatures:

  • Radiant heat to 2500°F (1371°C),
  • Short duration ambient heat 1500°F (815°C),
  • Total flame conditions up to 2000°F (1093°C).
