Aluminized Hoods & Accessories

Aluminized Zetex hoods (with hardware accessories) are made with aluminum film bonded to durable Zetex fabric. Designed to reflect 90% of radiant heat, aluminized hoods can be worn in environments where the ambient temperature does not exceed 200°F (93°C).

ALUMINIZED ZETEX LIFT FRONT HOOD
With a swivel face plate, this hood offers repetitive hot area visits without hood removal.

WELDING HOOD
This aluminized Zetex welding hood offers thermal and welding spark protection.

ALUMINIZED NOMEX HOOD
This insulated fire resistant hood fits snugly over the head. Designed to be worn under an aluminized hood, the Nomex hood offers workers additional heat protection in high temperature applications.

VORTEX® BODY COOLING SYSTEM
Compressed air cooled jacket keeps suited worker comfortable in high temperature applications.


 REPLACEMENT HOOD WINDOW
The 6 in. x 9 in. Approach hood window consists of an aluminum retainer, gold film, and clear lens. Two side wing locks hold the components in place.

HARD CAP WITH RATCHET HEADGEAR
The hard cap gives head protection and a mount for the window retainer and welding faceplate. The ratchet permits proper sizing.

Fabric Options
Newtex can custom-fabricate your safety garments from these other aluminized fabrics: Aluminized Kevlar; Aluminized Nomex; Aluminized PBI/Kevlar; and Aluminized Rayon. Garment linings are available in FR cotton, wool, quilted Nomex, and neoprene.
