Welding Fabrics
The Zetex and ZetexPlus brand names have long been associated for high temperature applications, including welding. Newtex Industries now offers an expanded line of welding fabrics for welding protection and fabrication of safety blankets, curtains, and shields. These fabrics are designed to protect personnel and equipment from sparks and molten metal splash in shipbuilding, power generation, chemical processing, refinery applications and many other common industrial and commercial uses.
Z-Sil
Z-Sil, a high silica glass fabric treated with a high temperature coating, has a melting point of 3000 °F (1650 °C). Continued fabric flexibility up to 1800 °F (980 °C) makes Z-Sil an ideal material for stress relief and equipment protection.

Z-Pro
Z-Pro fabrics feature an abrasion resistant coating for tough welding environments. Made from either a glass or glass/aramid blend, Z-Pro is designed for:

ZetexPlus® 
ZetexPlus texturized glass fabric is treated with a high temperature coating to resist flames, chemicals, and abrasion. A premium welding material with proven qualities across many industrial applications, ZetexPlus is an ideal for high temperature protection up to 2000 °F (1093° C).

Z-Shield
Durable Z-Shield woven glass fabric will fit a wide range of welding applications. It is ideal for fabrication of welding blankets, curtains, equipment covers, gloves and safety clothing. Z-Shield colors are gold, blue, red, and green.

Zetex®
Zetex, the original high temperature material, offers the highest quality texturized yarn construction in a woven fabric. Zetex has been used for welding applications for over 20 years in treated and heat cleaned fabrics.
Zetex is available in 18 oz./square yard (610 gr./square meter) to 64 oz./square yard (2170 gr./square meter) fabrics in 50 yard rolls (46 meters) length in 40 inch (1016mm) and 60 inch (1524mm) widths.
For additional protection and safety recognition, we recommend Zetex 800 Orange, a 24 oz./square yard (814 gr./square meter) fabric offering:
