Job Description


  • High energy, solutions-focused product expert able to solve customer thermal management and fire protection challenges with Newtex products and services
  • Drives sales growth in existing accounts by understanding customers' needs and providing insightful product recommendations
  • Captures new business opportunities by gaining customer confidence through relevant product recommendations and engaging Newtex experts
  • Generates new leads through web research, outbound communications, and useful first-time engagements
  • Knowledgeable on specifications of and applications for Newtex products
  • A high energy, outgoing personality who enjoys problem-solving and assisting others


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Frontline in handling leads for both new prospects and existing accounts
  • Recommends products, provides quotes, negotiates pricing, and closes deals
  • Solves customer issues using available Newtex resources
  • Solicits new business via outbound calls, emails, and trade shows
  • Solves order or product issues collaboratively with Newtex colleagues
  • Actively uses and maintains Zoho CRM database of leads, prospects, opportunities, and accounts
  • Adjusts discount levels and pricing for products
  • Uses MS Excel to analyze trends, pricing, sales shortfalls, and demand growth in an effort to meet and exceed goals
  • Keeps abreast of industry conditions and reports when necessary
  • Advises manufacturing of specific order requirements and keeps customers informed of delivery dates and/or issues
  • 1-2 weeks of travel per year for visiting customers and/or attending trade shows



  • 4-year college degree
  • Type 30 words per minute; Fluent in MS Office
  • Fluent in English; Second language desirable
