The Customer Operations Specialist will support the Newtex Sales team with timely, accurate order administration, issue resolution, and communications and collaboration with customers. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Receives purchase orders, checks for pricing accuracy, corrects discrepancies, enter orders into Syteline ERP, and confirms orders with order confirmations 

• Assists the Sales team with order estimates or pricing inquiries as necessary 

• Responsible for all export documentation, shipping information accuracy (weights and dimensions), required certifications of origin and authenticity 

• Receives and investigates customer complaints with Quality team 

• Collaborates closely with shipping and logistics team in arranging shipping, tracking orders, and correcting issues arising from shipment 

• Identifies pricing issues to Sales team and makes recommendations based on order history and comparable situations 

• Solves problems and answers questions from customers related to orders or order issues; Engages experts when required 

• Uses and maintains Zoho database of Leads and Accounts 

• Advises manufacturing of order requirements and shipping details 

• Consistently and professionally delivers excellence and superior customer service to each and every customer 

• Responsible for maintaining specific customer relationships, as assigned by the sales manager 

• Responsible for accurately processing and delivering customer invoices 


Education and/or Experience: 

• 4 year college degree in business, accounting or similar; ( An Associate’s degree in business or related field with sufficient experience and track record of success may be considered) 

• Has Strong aptitude for cloud based applications 

• Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS Office 


Physical Requirements: 

• While performing the duties of the job, the employee will be required to sit, stand and walk 


Work Environment: 

• Generally an office environment with occasional exposure to airborne fiberglass
