Chief Executive Officer
Jerry Joliet
Jerry became CEO in 2006, taking over for founder Bal Dixit. Prior to joining, Jerry held senior management roles with leading CPG and High Tech Companies. He started his professional career as a Nuclear trained Submarine Officer in the US Navy. Under his leadership, Newtex has grown organically and through acquisition. He enjoys hiring smart people with initiative and curiosity and watching as they deliver amazing results for customers worldwide.
VP of Operations - Textiles
Scott Gregorio
Scott has more than 35 years with Newtex and serves as Vice President of Operations – Textiles at our High Point, NC facility. Throughout his tenure, he has held roles across nearly every area of the company, giving him extensive knowledge of Newtex’s products, engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing operations. In addition to leading Textiles operations, Scott oversees Planning & Sourcing and supports Newtex’s Safety Apparel and Fire Containment business units.
VP of Sales & Marketing
Lindsey Cooper
Lindsey has been with Newtex since 2015 and serves as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. She oversees the sales team with a focus on strategic growth, key accounts, customer partnerships, and process improvements that strengthen efficiency and performance. Lindsey also leads Newtex’s marketing strategy, including its digital presence, website, e-commerce, content, and product positioning to support the Newtex brand and continued growth.
Director, Manufacturing - Coating & Lamination
Aaron Freeman
Aaron Freeman is Director of Operations – Coating & Lamination at Newtex, leading manufacturing, quality, and process improvement for advanced technical textiles. Since joining the company in 2018, he has advanced through quality, research and development, and operations leadership roles. Combining an engineering background with expertise in Lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 quality systems, and product development, Aaron is committed to driving innovation, operational excellence, and exceptional customer value.
Accounting Manager
Sheetal Patel
Sheetal joined Newtex in 2024 and serves as Accounting Manager, overseeing the company’s financial operations. She manages accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and cash management, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the organization. She is dedicated to strengthening financial processes, supporting management, and maintaining the financial health of Newtex.
Supply Chain Analyst, Level 1
Darrin Smith
Darrin began his career in the high-temperature textiles industry in 2010 at a custom sewing operation in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, which was acquired by Newtex in 2017. He has since been a key member of Newtex’s Sourcing team, supporting supplier relationships, material sourcing, and custom fabrication estimating. Now based at our High Point, NC facility, Darrin continues to support sourcing and supply chain activities across Newtex, including our Textiles and Engineering operations.
