Place the FirePad® Deck Protector underneath your portable fire pit, grill, or smoker.
The reflective, silver side of the FirePad® should face up towards the heat. The "aluminization" is the key to this product's performance, reflecting up to 95% of radiant heat away from your deck!
WARNING: An air space gap of at least 6 inches must be between the source of heat and the FirePad®. DO NOT place metal bottoms or other heat sources directly on the FirePad® surface. The FirePad® is an extreme heat barrier, not Fire Retardant. Remove popping embers and hot ash immediately from aluminized top layer to prevent burn damage to fabric.
The FirePad® is available in 3 diameter sizes: 24", 30'', and 36". The hottest part of the fire is in the center of the pit, it's most important to have adequate protection in the center.
Store indoors and lay flat at the end of each use to ensure the longevity and function of the product.
Not recommended for use with Stainless Steel Fire Pits.
