3M™ Nextel™ heat resistant sleeves are woven from 3M™ Nextel™ Continuous Filament Ceramic Oxide Fibers, designed to meet the toughest thermal, mechanical and electrical performance requirements while providing thermal insulation, electrical insulation, and flame resistance. These flexible, braided sleevings also offer good chemical resistance and maintain their mechanical properties at high temperatures.
Newtex is an authorized distributor of 3M™ Nextel™ Sleeving AS-40 and 3M™ Nextel™ Sleeving BS-40. The AS-40 ceramic sleeving is woven from Nextel 312 high temperature continuous oxide ceramic fiber, and the BS-40 ceramic sleeving is woven from Nextel 440, which provides more strength and thermal resistance than the Nextel 312. Both Nextel™ heat resistant sleeve options are available in a variety of diameters, ranging for 0.062” to 2.5”.
Select 3M™ Nextel™ Sleevings are also available in both Heat Cleaned and Heat Treated verisions.
