High temperature sleeving is used to cover cables, wires, and hoses to protect them from heat and flame or to provide electrical insulation. High temperature sleeving also protects from oil, water, and grease around fuel lines and hydraulic equipment in industrial applications. In addition to high temperature industrial environments, heat resistant sleeves are commonly used for thermal management in the automotive aftermarket.

Newtex offers Zetex® fiberglass sleeving and 3M™ Nextel™ ceramic sleeving in a range of diameters. We can also manufacture aluminized sleeving and coated high temperature sleeving for custom orders.

  • 3M™ Nextel™ Sleeves: Woven from continuous filament ceramic oxide fibers, the 3M™ Nextel™ Sleeving is the most temperature resistant sleeving that Newtex offers. This high temperature sleeving can withstand continuous operating temperatures up to 2000F / 1095C.

  • Fiberglass Sleeves: Woven from continuous filament DE Glass yarns, fiberglass sleeving can withstand temperatures up to 1000F/540C. This high temperature sleeving can also be treated with a ZetexPlus® vermiculite coating for improved temperature resistance and abrasion resistance.
