Fiberglass Sleeves Provide Thermal Protection for Cables and Wiring
Zetex® Fiberglass Sleeves are flexible, braided, thermal insulation sleeves used to protect hydraulic and electrical lines, cable, or wiring from high temperatures. Fiberglass sleeves are also commonly known as “fiberglass tubing” or “fiberglass sleeving”.
Zetex® Fiberglass heat resistant sleeves are woven from the same premium highly texturized DE glass yarn used to make Zetex® Fiberglass Fabrics. An over-spray process preserves that texturization during fabrication and in use. The over-spray coating is made from inorganic materials so it will not produce hazardous out-gassing.
Temperature Resistance:
- Zetex® fiberglass sleeves support temperatures up to 1000°F / 540°C.
- Any Zetex® fiberglass sleeve can be treated with the ZetexPlus® Vermiculite Coating to double temperature resistance to 2000°F / 1095°C and improve abrasion resistance.
Available Styles:
- Zetex® P-8000 Fiberglass Sleeves features a 0.125" thick wall. The P-8000 style is available with an inner diameter of 0.625", 0.75", 1.0", 1.25", 1.5", or 2.0".
- Zetex P-1600 Fiberglass Sleeves features a 0.0625" thick wall. The P-1600 style is available with an inner diameter of 0.50", 0.75", 1.0", or 1.5".
