High Temperature Zetex Tape
Premium-grade Zetex® Tapes are woven with 6 micron (DE) filament fiberglass yarn for enhanced strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance, and thermal insulation while reducing bolt pull-through. The fiberglass yarns used to weave Zetex® Tapes are treated with the same proprietary texturization process as the yarns used to weave Zetex® Fiberglass Fabrics, giving Zetex® Tape the same superior thermal insulation capabilities that has brought Zetex® Fiberglass Fabrics global recognition since 1978.
Zetex® tapes support operating temperatures to 1000°F / 540°C and peak temperatures up to 1300°F / 700°C.
These American-made fiberglass tapes are available in 3 styles: Zetex P-1050, Zetex P-2150, and Zetex P-3900. Zetex P-1050 is the thinnest and most flexible weave at 1/16” thick, Zetex P-2150 is 1/8” thick, and Zetex P-3900 is the most substantial weave at 1/4” thick. All 3 of these styles are available in a variety of widths ranging from 1 inch to 6 inches.
ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes also come in P-1050, P-2150, and P-3900 styles. ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes are also woven from Zetex® yarns but then treated with a proprietary vermiculite coating for improved resistance to high temperatures up to 2000°F / 1095°C.
Other options include Zetex® wire reinforced tape for greater strength and abrasion resistance and Zetex® bolt-hole tape, woven without warp yarns in the center for bolt insertion. Wire reinforced and bolt-hole tapes can also be treated with the ZetexPlus® Vermiculite Coating.
All Zetex® tapes come in coreless,100 ft (30.48 m) rolls unless otherwise noted. Custom widths, lengths, and weaves are also available. Minimum order requirements apply for custom Zetex® Tapes.
Zetex® Tapes are sold in cases of 10 rolls. If you need fewer than 10 rolls, we may be able to refer you to a distributor.
