Aluminized aprons for heat protection and mobility
Newtex’s aluminized aprons reflect up to 95% of radiant energy while protecting from sparks and molten metal splash. These bib-style heat resistant aprons are specifically engineered to maximize mobility and ease of use while maximizing safety and heat protection.
The X10 Aluminized Apron offers a single-layer of lightweight heat protection. The X10 Apron is available in Aluminized Rayon for a more economical option or Aluminized Oxidized PAN (O-PAN) for additional comfort and insulation.
The X20 Aluminized Apron features a two-layer construction: a Z-Flex Aluminized Fiberglass outer shell and a fire resistant cotton liner. The X20 Apron is an updated version of Newtex's NXP 150 Aluminized Apron.
Both the X10 and X20 Aluminized Aprons feature side release buckles at the neck and waist for a comfortable and adjustable fit. Aluminized aprons are available in 2 sizes:
- Medium: 24" wide x 36" long (61 cm x 91 cm)
- Large: 29" wide x 42" long (74 cm x 107 cm)
