DualMirror® II 1006 is an aluminized rayon fabric in the PFR Rayon line, engineered for demanding high-temperature protective clothing and heat-shielding applications.
This fabric features a herringbone weave and Newtex’s proprietary DualMirror® II aluminization, delivering the flexibility and comfort of rayon while reflecting up to 95% of radiant energy and providing protection up to 3,000°F / 1,650°C. A premium Lenzing™ viscose substrate option is available for applications requiring enhanced consistency and reflective finish. The material is commonly fabricated into proximity suits, jackets, pants, aprons, and industrial heat shields used in foundry, glass manufacturing, and petrochemical environments.
DualMirror® II 1006 meets ISO 11612 ratings for molten aluminum (D3) and molten iron (E3) and achieves a C4 radiant resistance rating, offering certified heat protection in a durable, wearable fabric.
