Z-Flex II Aluminized

The Z-Flex II Multilayer Vacuum Vapor deposition process allows this aluminized film to move with the fabric when there is bending and flexing. Aluminized fabrics are well-suited for safety apparel applications, as well as automotive and other heat shielding applications with high vibration or movement.

DualMirror® II Aluminized Fabrics are used in specialized PPE to reflect radiant heat, molten metal, and sparks in extreme environments. Made from technical fibers like preox, aramid, FR rayon, and their high-performance blends, including soft fleeced knits for added comfort, these fabrics deliver superior thermal protection and durability.

Z-Flex AF Foil

These fabrics are laminated with a very thin extruded aluminum foil. Ideal for static heat shielding applications. Our Z-Flex® Aluminum Foil fabrics are an economical option for heat shielding applications.

These high-temperature reflective fabrics safeguard against intense radiant energy, flames, sparks, and molten metal splash, making them ideal for heat shields, engine insulation, and proximity PPE. Fabric options include aluminized fiberglass, preox/aramid, aramid (Kevlar®), FR rayon, and more.

Z-Flex II and DualMIrror II fabrics leverage Newtex’s proprietary aluminization process featuring the most advanced high temperature adhesive for exceptional reflectivity, durability, and delamination resistance, ensuring long-lasting protection in the harshest thermal environments.
