Newtex Industries' Z-Flex II Aluminized Fabrics Overview

The Z-Flex® II aluminized fabrics made with Zetex texturized glass and Z-Fil Filament glass offer great value for a wide range of applications.

Zetex® texturized fiberglass base: Heavier aluminized fabrics provide better protection against high temperatures and molten metal. Commonly used for industrial heat shielding, proximity suits, and aluminized clothing.

Z-Fil™ filament fiberglass base: Lightweight and flexible aluminized fabrics ideal for multi-layer insulation pads or blankets.

Both leading brands reflect up to 95% of radiant energy and protect from high temperatures and radiant heat up to 3000°F / 1650°C. However, the aluminized surface is not designed for direct contact with temperatures above 350°F / 175°C. Newtex’s Z-Flex® II and Dual Mirror® II aluminized fabrics have been independently tested against the most demanding US & EN standards and have proven to consistently deliver superior heat shielding performance against competitive offerings.
