Aluminized pants for lightweight heat protection
The X10 and X20 Aluminized Pants are available individually or as part of the X10 Ultra-Lite Proximity Suit and X20 Lightweight Proximity Suit ensembles. These heat-reflecting aluminized pants are designed to reflect up to 95% of radiant energy and protect from sparks and molten metal splash in environments with ambient temperatures up to 200°F / 93°C.
The X10 Aluminized Pants offer a single-layer of ultra-lightweight heat protection. The X10 Pants are available in Aluminized Rayon as a more economical option or Aluminized Oxidized PAN (O-PAN) for additional comfort and insulation.
The X20 Aluminized Pants feature a 2-layer construction: a Z-Flex Aluminized Fiberglass outer shell with your choice of a fire retardant cotton liner or a neoprene vapor barrier liner. The neoprene liner is recommended if the user may come in contact with hot steam, gas, or liquid.
The X10 and X20 Aluminized Pants both feature a lightweight construction, a tailored fit, and sewn-in suspenders for adjustable length. Newtex’s aluminized pants are available in sizes Medium through 2XL. Custom sizes are also available for an additional fee.
