Zetex® & ZetexPlus® Glass Fabrics
The industry standard for Thermal Management & Fire Protection.
Woven from highly texturized continuous filament yarn, Zetex is used widely in applications requiring thermal and acoustic insulation or protection from heat and fire. An overspray process preserves texturization in fabrication and use. Since the fabrics are made from inorganic materials, they won't smolder or produce hazardous outgassing. Zetex fabrics support temperatures to 1000°F, and when treated with our ZetexPlus Vermiculite peak temperatures resistance can go to 2000°F.
Typical Applications: Blankets, Covers, Heat Shielding, Insulation, Jacketing, Maintenance, Molten Metal, Welding
Typical Industries: Architectural & Construction, Automotive & Transportation, Foundries, Glass & Casting Operations, Insulation & Lagging, Military, Defense & Homeland Security, Personal Protective Equipment & Apparel, Petrochemical & Refinery, Power Generation, Process Equipment, Shipbuilding & Marine, Welding & Fire Protection
