Vermiculite Coated Fiberglass Tapes for Improved Heat Resistance

ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes are woven from highly texturized premium 6 micron (DE glass) filament fiberglass yarn and then treated with a proprietary ZetexPlus® vermiculite coating. The vermiculite coating causes heat to disperse evenly across the surface of the fiberglass tape, boosting its temperature resistance while also improving its strength and abrasion resistance.

ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes support operating temperatures up to 1500°F / 815°C and peak temperatures up to 2000°F / 1095°C.

ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes are available in 3 styles:  ZetexPlus® P-1050, ZetexPlus® P-2150, and ZetexPlus® P-3900. ZetexPlus P-1050 is the thinnest and most flexible weave at 1/16” thick, ZetexPlus® P-2150 is 1/8” thick, and ZetexPlus® P-3900 is the most substantial weave at 1/4” thick. All 3 of these styles are available in a variety of widths ranging from 1 inch to 6 inches. Each style is also available as untreated Zetex tape without the vermiculite coating.

Other options include ZetexPlus® wire reinforced tape for greater strength and abrasion resistance and ZetexPlus® bolt-hole tape, woven without warp yarns in the center for bolt insertion. Wire reinforced and bolt-hole tapes are available with and without the ZetexPlus vermiculite coating. Some ZetexPlus® styles are also available in black.

All ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes come in coreless, 100 ft (30.48 m) rolls unless otherwise noted. Custom widths, lengths, and weaves are also available. Minimum order requirements apply for custom tapes.

ZetexPlus® Vermiculite tapes are sold in cases of 10 rolls. If you need fewer than 10 rolls, we may be able to refer you to a distributor.
